Thought for the week: Part of showing God’s love in the world means that we, like God, desire the best for others and not only ourselves. Sometimes this means we might have to sacrifice certain liberties that might cause an offense for a weaker brother/sister in Christ, such as eating pork in front of them, or even consuming alcohol. But, Romans 14:21 says that for the benefit of our weaker bro/sis in Christ it is good not to partake in those liberties. This week, consider sacrificing certain liberties that may be affecting a weaker Christian. Control your speech a little more, watch what you eat, improve your work habit; do something that will benefit others and not just yourself.
